This boat is for sale – 1987 Larson Senza 175 with Mercruiser 3.7, 165 HP engine. 297 hours, lots of years left. Boat needs some transom repair.

   Is yours still called a 165, and still 6 cylinder, but 200 hp? If so it is based on a chevy 250 truck motor. But i still thnk they are 165 hp. Maybe 200 i dunno

   the 3.7 shown in this video is actually mercruiser product designed block. the block is all aluminum with a 460 ford head on it. its a good motor but the charging system sucks becuase it was originally designed for an outboard
